    1. Don’t be offended, I also disagree. I just found that sometimes people would rather write a poem than articulate their thoughts in length and depth. Poetry is more attractive and more fun to write. Which also makes people write nonesense in the form of a poem because it looks like some sort of “modern art”. And in truth it is a bunch of mumble jumble… I insulted myself too with this for I have a poetry category on my blog…. πŸ˜‰

  1. Haha I find that the ambiguity created in a poem allows for the greatest impact since it demands the attention of the reader as not only a reader but someone who has to thoroughly feel around the poem. I’d love for you to check out my blog, just started it, going to be posting my poems on there 😊

  2. This is an interesting perspective and I enjoyed your explanation –being a poet myself I understand this view point …slightly! lol I’d love it if you read some of my poetry as well! On imgroce.wordpress.com

  3. Haha, this is painfully accurate. I think the reason I’ve invested myself in poetry is because personally I’m not only lazy but also impatient. I’m also terrible at telling stories, so to be able to express myself in only a few words and instead give weight to those words really appealed to me. Thanks for sharing this bit of truth with us! πŸ™‚
