Loneliness

My feelings when around people… [especially public gatherings and ceremonies]

I reside with others, but live alone

I walk with others, but dance alone

I converse with others, but talk to myself Continue reading “Loneliness”

My merry-go-round

One November evening I passed by the playground. I remember the playground from my youth, always robust with action. Many children running around carelessly, others playing hide and seek, Little girls giggling while jumping on the trampoline, Continue reading “My merry-go-round”

Take me out

“Daddy, wanna come out!” Child cries from crib
Sorry, sunshine! Not till the morning.
“When is the morning already???”
I don’t know my child. I’ve been asking that for a while…
Let’s wait together…

Song of Songs

Ever since I can recall, there was a dream in my heart.

The day will come and I will climb the hill and reach the Land of Promise, the promise of quiet and peace. It is an atmosphere where the sun shines but does not burn, the wolves cry but do not scare. I will assemble the sheep in the meadow by the shrill of my whistle, walk them to the brook and comfort them with the song of my flute. I am a Stranger

“Yesterday, I laughed at your jokes. I enjoyed your company.
And you appreciated mine.
Today, you don’t get me. And I don’t get you.
Your jokes are immature. Your language is dull. Your stories are boring.
Today, I am a stranger.
I am forever alone.”
