Loneliness

My feelings when around people… [especially public gatherings and ceremonies]

I reside with others, but live alone

I walk with others, but dance alone

I converse with others, but talk to myself Continue reading “Loneliness”

Flying and Falling

When I was young I had a dream

In the dream I had wings,

I flew like an eagle

Taller than mountains, vaster than sea

Over fields of never ending green

Rivers and rain forest and deserts

Animals and beasts and fish

People of white brown and olive Continue reading “Flying and Falling”

Followers?

There seems to be an unspoken objective in the world of social media, and that is to gain as many “followers” or “friends” as possible. To the blogger, or any artist for that matter,  a new ‘follow’ is not only a validation of his skills, it is a legitimization of the feelings that he is attempting to convey. By all the battles it fought
Yet no comfort to console
The unanswered it sought Continue reading “Diversity”

Preperation

When doing something virtuous with spontaneity, the effect on your soul will disappear as fast as it came. However, the preparation doesn’t always have to be before the action; you can prepare afterwards, too!

I’m preparing myself for some charity I gave this morning!”

Take me out

“Daddy, wanna come out!” Child cries from crib
Sorry, sunshine! Not till the morning.
“When is the morning already???”
I don’t know my child. I’ve been asking that for a while…
Let’s wait together…
