As Holy as God?

God tells Moses: “Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.” (Leviticus 19:2) This verse clearly sounds like a command; but some leading scholars believe that it is not a commandment for itself. The Golden Calf. Why not a lion?

Robots and angels don’t err, they can live for a thousand years without making a single mistake. Human beings, however, sin and fail and make lots and lots of stupid decisions; individually and communally. Sunshine Blogger Award

Hi there!

I took some off time, because I needed [and still need] a break. Taking an occasional break is crucial for me, it gives me time to recharge which in-turn keeps blogging exciting. When doing something virtuous with spontaneity, the effect on your soul will disappear as fast as it came. However, the preparation doesn’t always have to be before the action; you can prepare afterwards, too!

I’m preparing myself for some charity I gave this morning!”
